Pilot Fatigue:  Studies have shown that after 14 to 15 hours of wakefulness, humans

exhibit the same degree of motor skills and mental acuity of someone

who has consumed two alcoholic beverages.  After consuming two

servings of alcohol, the average blood alcohol level would be .05 BAC.

The max legal limit for pilots is .04, and no consumption within the previous

eight hours.  If a pilot wakes one hour before arrival at the airport, and then

works the legally allowed sixteen (16) hours on duty, those last few hours

have reduced a pilot to someone with the abilities of someone who is

over the legal limit for a pilot on duty.

This video is intended to be humorous, but considering what was just

noted above, would you get on an airplane with someone who has

                                 been at work this long?
